Javier Léon Pérez
I have always strived to develop a philosophy of paper, with its own language, its own form of expression, its own way of manifesting itself in reality, and sensibility is one of its most important values. When one speaks about the sensibility of paper, one speaks about its vulnerability—but also about its versatility and its ability to adapt to its environment.
Artist name bold Here is a text about the artist. … is among the most significant positions in contemporary art. His works act as luminous, breathing spaces: reduced, precise, and full of quiet intensity. Through a unique multi-layered pictorial structure, he succeeds not in depicting light, but in making it visible as an independent material. Udo Nöger works in the tradition of minimalism and reduces everything he does “to a point where there is no more and no less”—a statement that precisely describes the balance of his reduced aesthetic. However, his main interest, alongside the pursuit of reducing visual information, is light.
